A 24/7 stream should not need your PC.

The usual way to loop a video on Twitch works, until the day it does not.

A PC and OBS, on all the time.

The loop runs from a computer that can never sleep, update or crash. The day it does, the channel goes dark.

The 48-hour cut.

Twitch ends any broadcast at 48 hours. Left alone, a loop is cut in the middle of a video and stays offline until someone restarts it.

A chat that changes nothing.

Viewers watch a playlist they cannot touch. Nobody has a reason to type, or to come back tomorrow.

Built for Twitch.

Not a generic playout tool pointed at Twitch. A channel that follows Twitch’s rules and gives the chat a job.

Connected to Twitch, no stream key.

Authorize your Twitch account once. VOD247 starts the broadcast itself, so there is no stream key to copy or paste.

Labelled as a rerun.

The Rerun tag goes on every broadcast, and the title says so too, the way Twitch asks for a replay.

Restarted only between two videos.

Twitch caps one broadcast at 48 hours. VOD247 restarts the session around every 12 hours, only between two videos, never in the middle of one.

The chat votes on the next video.

!request a video, then a native Twitch poll with 5 options. Not an Affiliate yet? The bot counts !vote 1 to 5 instead.

A public site for your channel.

What is playing, the live poll, every video in the catalogue with a search box, the votes and the stats. On a vod247.tv subdomain, or on your own domain on request.

Your Twitch VODs, whenever you want.

Later on, add the Twitch channel your VODs come from. They join your videos in the same catalogue and the same votes.

Live in three steps.

No server to rent, no software to install.

  1. 01

    Connect your Twitch

Sign in with Twitch and authorize the account that will broadcast 24/7. The one you are signed in with works if you do not stream live on it.

  2. 02

    Upload your videos

Send your videos to the catalogue. VOD247 checks and archives each one, and a single video is enough to start.

  3. 03

    Go live

Press start. The channel goes on air, the bot joins the chat, the first vote opens and your public site is already up. Your PC can be off.

One flat price. Archive included.

Solo holds 1 TB of archive, about 370 hours of video. Monthly or annual, cancel any time. Start with a 7-day free trial, card required.

Straight answers.

Are 24/7 streams allowed on Twitch?

Twitch’s own help page explains how: broadcast a rerun from your streaming encoder of choice, and label it. The written obligations are owning the content and labelling it as a replay. Your own videos, tagged and titled as a rerun, meet both.

Do I need to be a Twitch Affiliate?

No. VOD247 broadcasts live from your Twitch account, so it does not depend on Twitch’s own upload button, which is limited to Affiliates and Partners. The chat can vote with !vote instead of a native poll.

Does my PC have to stay on?

No. Broadcasting, archiving, the chat bot and the site run on VOD247 servers. Once the channel is authorized, nothing on your machine is involved.

What happens at 48 hours?

Twitch caps one broadcast at 48 hours, per its broadcasting guidelines. VOD247 recycles the session about every 12 hours, only between two videos, never in the middle of one. Months on air never depend on a single connection.

Can I add my Twitch VODs later?

Yes. Declare the Twitch channel your VODs come from and they join your videos in the catalogue and in the vote.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Solo starts with a 7-day free trial: card required, and you pay nothing if you cancel before it ends.
