Is a 24/7 replay channel allowed on Twitch?

Do reruns count towards Affiliate or Partner?

Do I have to tag my stream as a rerun?
Twitch asks for the Rerun checkbox, "[Rerun]" at the start of the title and in the go-live notification. VOD247 sets the tags and the title mention; the checkbox is in your Twitch dashboard. Full answer →
What about the 48-hour limit?
Twitch caps one broadcast at 48 hours. The session is recycled about every 12 hours, only between two VODs.
Can I replay someone else’s VODs?
Only with a written licence from them, recorded on the channel. Twitch does not allow sharing content you do not own, and neither do we.

What quality is archived?
The one you streamed at. The file is stored as Twitch had it, never re-encoded, and replayed bit for bit.
Do muted segments stay muted?
Yes. Twitch mutes them in the file it serves, and that is the file we keep. Nothing is un-muted.
Can I get my files back?
Yes. They are yours. Ask, and you get them as stored.

Does it work on Kick or YouTube?
No. VOD247 is built for Twitch only: the archive, the polls and the chat are all Twitch.
What plays when the queue is empty?
A filler loop keeps the session open, and the next cycle picks from the catalogue. The stream never drops.
What if the source streamer changes their stream settings?
Each VOD is replayed in its own format. When the next one differs, the session is recycled at the cut, and Twitch shows it as the same broadcast.
The chat and the vote
Do I need to be an Affiliate for chat voting?

Does the bot need to be a moderator?
VIP or moderator, yes. In followers-only chat, Twitch drops messages from other accounts silently.
Can I schedule a VOD myself?
Yes, from the dashboard, ahead of the vote. You can also block a VOD from ever airing.
Does the bot raid automatically?
No, and it will not. A raid is your decision, from your live.
